Edge Office was introduced to Brooks Bell in 2004 by JDavis Architects. Brooks Bell is a firm focused exclusively on enterprise-level testing, personalization and optimization services. We met when she was opening her first office above what is now Shuckers on Glenwood South in Raleigh. Their first objective was to create an inspiring and innovative space for her development team, while spending less than $1000 per person. . As Brooks Bell grew, they moved again before settling in their current space at the intersection of St. Mary’s St. and Hillsborough St. In preparation for each new space, and for over a decade now, Edge Office has been able to collaborate with Brooks and with the design team at Genslar to create a work environment that supports her brand, style and budget needs. Brooks wanted to create a place where employees would want to come work hard, and the design reflects her desire to put her employees needs at the forefront. When employees need to take a break from their work, they have several options including a nap room, a quick game of ping pong, or even a drink in their restaurant-like lounge area.
